Voice of the Hall
Two voiceover artists, one man and one woman, to be the video voice of Imladris.
We are producing a series of short videos to introduce newcomers to Imladris. Your own equipment is required.
The long work
Imladris exists to establish the guiding principles, the strategy, and the community infrastructure that nurtures a thriving community of Redemptive Game Creators. Which makes many people say, "The industry needs this!" and then,
"How can I help bring it to life?"
~~ We are so glad you asked. ~~
A great many game-making FaithWalkers feel isolated. The industry does not typically respect the faith. The church has not generally treated the work as valid. The remedy to that loneliness is not a game - it's a people — creators connected enough that their own Living Water has somewhere to go. Most of what Imladris does is aimed at alleviating that particular hurt and preventing more like it.
If your heart sings for this mission, and the old categories of generosity still hold, then the next step has a name...

Say hello. Come into the LinkedIn group. Join the list on Home and the hall will send a Discord invite. Be yourself.
Spread the word. The near work is to find, feed, and flourish a people. Share the news with someone who would be fed by it, or who would feed it.
Thrive. That is an actual ask. Whole and healthy people make work that is good, beautiful, and true. Everything in The House and The Week is designed to feed the soul in a community of regular practice, not only in a season of crisis.
Share. Wisdom, skill, and a second pair of eyes. Young members are looking for counsel, for a mentor, or simply to be seen. Working groups and community projects are already the table.
Offer. Some of you hold tools the rest of the hall will never see at list price. A license, a seat, a discount is a career buff in a rowdy market.
Keep it in the family. Prefer the hall when you hire and when you post, quality standing equal. The industry will change faster by who we choose than by what we announce.
Keep it in the House
Monthly gifts are what fund the week: the list, the prayer, the lectures, and the Table when it is set.
Imladris is a 501(c)(3) and gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
To underwrite a multi-year Elbereth chair, the kind of roadway measured in years, not weekends, write first.
Elbereth and named funds: leave word
You have not because you ask not
The vision is soil. These are the next seeds. When a chair is filled it leaves this list.

Paid
A working professional to mentor a remote cohort of Industry Practicum students each term.
Onboard and off-board, run weekly meetings on Discord, hold Agile/SCRUM rhythms, and flag anyone who needs a second chance. One or two cohorts of up to ten. Heavier at the ends of term. $35/hour, part-time, term-based. People skill first; producer or PM experience helps. Write for the full posting.
Serve
A maker of stained glass — human-made art for the House.
We want more glass in the material: panels, stills, the kind of light that belongs indoors. Not a filter. Write if you cut, paint, or lead the real thing.
Other opportunities to pitch in — a camera, a ride, an afternoon — live in Discord once you have a key.
Fund
$200,000 to bring a gifted MMO back to current code, mobile, and Steam.
A $4 million non-cash gift put the work in our hands. The war-chest is what lets tens of thousands of children keep the world they already love. Give on the campaign page — it keeps its own meter.
Fund
$50,000 to update and deepen Hall of Epiphany: Invitation.
Formation should have a roof, not only a Discord channel. This fund revises the first year so the week can carry more people, more carefully.
Fund
$15,000 for a reporter and for promotion.
A small, finishable chair: someone to tell what is happening among FaithWalkers in public, and a little fuel so the telling travels.
To claim a chair or to fund one, leave word at the gate.
