Imladris is a 501(c)(3) public charity. EIN 84-3668625. This page is the short account of what we do with a name you hand us.

We do not sell your name. We do not rent the roll. We do not hand a list to anyone who wants to pitch you a product.

What we collect

If you sign the roll we ask for a first name, a last name, and an email address. That is the key to Discord, the lectures, Epiphany, and Intercession. If you write the gate we keep the letter long enough to answer it. If you give through GivingFuel they collect what a gift requires — name, address, payment — under their own terms.

Who holds it

The roll is kept in Mailchimp on our behalf. Gifts are processed by GivingFuel. Imladris does not set cookies of its own and does not run an analytics tag or advertising pixel on these pages. Mailchimp and GivingFuel may set their own cookies when you use their forms. If that changes here, this page will say so.

How long

A name stays on the roll until you ask to be taken off. Every letter from the list has a way out. You may also write elrond@imladris.community and say so in plain speech.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you live where a privacy law names those rights, we will honor the request we can honor. Donations already booked with GivingFuel follow their retention rules for tax records.
