Hall of Epiphany

“Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it...How awesome is this place!...this is the gate of heaven.”
Gen 28:16

“We have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.”
— G. K. Chesterton, Orthodoxy

Most of us learned the faith in rooms that were dry. We listen and we leave. Again and again.

The Bible is stranger than the stories you ship. Angels and devils. A stone heart made good again. Fire and water in a world that is still porous. And a God who speaks. Still.

That is why we keep the Hall of Epiphany. Every week a company of seekers gathers for an hour. We learn. We listen. We reason together. And we pray.

The week

Wednesdays. Discussion is the point.

Currently Wednesdays at 9:30am Pacific on Discord. Sessions alternate between teaching (Learn) and guided prayer (Listen). Every meeting includes real discussion. You are invited to question and debate, not only to receive.

You do not have to be an apprentice. You do not have to have it figured out. You just have to show up.

People leave saying, “I never knew that was in the Bible,” and “I learned more in one year than my whole life in the pew.”

Two years

Hall of Epiphany: Invitation. Expand your categories. Get your wonder back. The epic scope of the story, two thousand years of practice, desire, spiritual beings, a reliable Bible, a God who speaks, the Fall as soul-sickness, signs and wonders, identity, inner healing, warfare, calling. The year ends with an invitation to receive God wholeheartedly as Father.

Hall of Epiphany: Initiation. How do you actually walk this out. Character over kingdom. Strongholds. The old disciplines. Stages of maturity. Wisdom and revelation. Authority and prayer. Sabbath. A redemptive frame for work and the beginning of a Rule of Life. The life of discipleship is a path of ever-increasingness and we have so much to share.

Two tracks. Same curriculum.

The open track is for anyone in the orbit. Drop in. Readings are recommended, not required. Belonging and exposure are the point.

Apprentices carry more. Reading is required. The year is treated like a school year, usually beginning late September with a new Invitation cycle, and it aims at a shared capstone: the live retreat.

The Achievement Guide is the shorter foundation used in the practicum. Epiphany is the deep year. They are not the same meeting.
